Fertility Vitamins For Men

How Do Fertility Vitamins for Men Work?

For men who could be struggling with infertility, one solution is to start fertility vitamins for men. Along with weight loss, reduction in alcohol intake, and not smoking, fertility vitamins for men may help increase sperm count and improve chances of conceiving.

Many of the supplements are antioxidants and may reduce the number of free radicals that damage cells, including the cells where sperm are produced. Many fertility vitamins for men also include an ingredient known as selenium, which may help with infertility issues. A lack of this can be linked to infertility.

Vitamin C, Vitamin D, and Vitamin B12 are also important vitamins. Vitamin C has been shown to increase the overall number of sperm in the semen and motility. Vitamin C may also reduce the number of deformed sperm in samples. Many experts believe that this is due to the antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties of the supplements.
